LoL
you guys are great and always a lot of fun .

Wish i could remember that guys name or what show you might could recall him from.
But he always did small parts and random appearances - on lots of different stuff.

He also had a nose 'somewhat similar' to the Streets of San Francisco guy.
Not quite as unique - but similar.

He was usually a schister type or fly-by-night type of character.

Bigd400, If you have the 69 assembly manual it shows the exact shape (radius) and size of the spear at the front end of the stripes. Being a 69 only thing, not sure on the relationship with the Ram Air decals.

That looks great, I like the stance of it, looks pretty good with the chrome bumper as well, what color is that I can't tell.

Edit: Uh-oh... Greg, not another spirited debate , no worries, we have a witness this time .

Here is a better picture of the color from 1978 same color just with graphics.
Second picture is looking down driver side rear window towards the drivers door. On the left of the glass is the color of the car now, just a shade lighter. The original color on the right underneath the rear door panel.
What color do you think? We came up with British green or Sequoia green.

Sorry Joe, sometimes we're unstable blokes.

As you can tell from this thread, it's impossible to precisely gauge colors on a laptop, desktop or monitor of any kind, but we try lol.

I've looked at several images of both those greens and it is more than likely one of them but I can't tell, and everyone's viewing experience is going to differ.

Are you planning to paint it? You could have the color matched to what's visible at the interior of the back window or has that been removed?

I noticed the 72 pics have the pinstripe and the 78 pics do not, If you're looking for an opinion, I like it much better with them.

I also noticed the for sale sign in the 78 pics, just wondering now how long you have owned the car, assuming you didn't buy it new.

Very sorry to hear about your brother, I lost my brother as well a few years back, sucks.

I did notice the door edge guard, it looks great and accents the pin striping very nicely.

That's awesome you've met all the owners, in what way is it the only GTO built like that?

I see now Dave, very cool options, a one of a kind for sure, also like to apologize for calling you Joe, obvious to me now that's your brothers name.

I would talk to it everyplace I took it, probably get half way across the parking lot, walk back an go, anything while I'm in here, hose, belt, lil wiper fluid?

Told you we were unstable blokes , be that as it may, we can still put up a good spirited debate if need be . "Waiting for Greg to back me up."

As for the pinstripes I would definitely put them back on, good chance they were originally on the car anyway, if you have the PHS it's possible they're listed.

Thanks Jeff Hamlin - thats him. Carl Ballantine
Credits show he was on IDOJ in 1968 , as a used car salesman aka Carl Tucker.

AND on Partridge Family in 1971 as Pitchman.

McHales Navy was probably his biggest gig.
