that wagon was the bomb when new. I wander if it might have been an HO car. with the exhaust gone there is no tell tale sign. phs it I guess.

as for the statement
" Sometimes the most interesting vehicles have the least value"
I have a friend that has a very large collection and has several really rare cars
(a few are my old ones) but he also has a large collection of just plain weird and the "oh wow I remember those when I was a kid" cars. maybe because I have surrounded myself with the super low production high horse stuff all my collecting years, I find myself looking at the weird and unusual stuff when I am at his place.

Where do I start. 1 owner car? So this 70 year old guy just put 24”’s on his Cutlass? Then the price? Is this supposed to be $40K? For a 4 door?

I’m too scared to call on this car. I’m not man enough to drive it anyway.

I think THAT would be the explanation for the paint job.

See, and here I was figuring it was alcohol that was involved in that paint - maybe both.

It takes a tough man to put pink stripes on your car!

Ironically that’s what the body shop said when I put judge stripes on my Atoll Blue 70! My daughters loved it though!

"stepsister," lol, I'd love to have that, just to far away for me or I would.

All original, "v6 3 on the tree, runs and drives, has a good drivetrain". just what the doctor ordered.

I wonder exactly when it was that people started calling all six cylinder engines a V6...it is a cool truck though and would make for a good project vehicle. I've been watching Youtube videos from Lucky Costa (he is a co-host on Hot Rod Garage and often appears in Hot Rod and Car Craft magazines); he just put together a similar truck with a high horsepower LS engine and full QA1 suspension upgrades.

That's a nice project truck...There is a lot of restoration support out there for projects like that now also.

Not sure but the days of straight 6's and 8's have just about been forgotten by most of the general public, I mean look, this guy even owns it, and says "All original", lol.

Agreed, very cool, I'll have to watch the vid you mentioned, thanks.

Sure is, awesome body style and in great shape from what I can see, I'd leave the running gears just like they are, that 3 on the tree is da chit brother.
