Default Over $100,000 invested, and still needs the details

It may be a nice car, but without more pictures, I just don't see $45k

Speaking of laughably unrealistic prices.. Looks like the first knucklehead to try to take advantage of Burt Reynolds' death to sell their not even remotely correct car for a fortune.

I'm always amazed at the number of people with vintage cars that basically know nothing about their car, where to get parts, how to work on it etc. They are totally at the mercy of guys like this. You even meet them at car shows ... people that basically just bought and old car that looks cool to them, it breaks, they take it to their local mechanic. Which is fine, just surprising how many of them there are.
Ever talk to that guy? Complete douchebag hustler.

He's on the phone with you yammering about how great this hood he's got is, then interrupts you when you ask a question and says "Hold on, I have to take this other call." He puts the phone down, says to someone (no one) "Hey did that XYZ come in?" "OK." "Yeah we got it. Have it ready in a couple days." He barks out orders to some imaginary person about media blasting something or other and then gets back on the phone with you talking a mile a minute saying the same sh!t over again, completely avoiding your question.

You just know the guy is probably sitting alone in his kitchen eating a ham sandwich and trying to hustle you into thinking he's some mega-parts broker.

what do you mean? he dropped the price from $55,000, now it's a steal.

Nice grocery getter. Seems like a decent price, if the mileage is legit.

Amazing how ugly that car is as a four door when the two doors look so good.

Woof, and regardless of mileage, that rust makes that a parts car for sure where I come from.

I think it's pretty cool too. Proportions are pretty nice. Wonder what you might do for a top though. Just settle for the fact that it's a fair weather car I guess.

I looked at the pictures again and I notice a badge above the glove box that says "Schacht Special". I did quick google search and found that there was a Bob Schacht that raced NASCAR from that area... and get this- he raced Pontiacs!

That thing has so much custom work I'm not sure why they couldn't have done better on lower front hood. Very cool car!

My guess is since the car was never finished, they just didn't get that far when they were working on it. While the general shape and lines are roughed in, you can see it still needs plenty of finishing.

I do like the color comb, but it would look far better with color keyed stamped steel 'Z28' mags. Or even Olds rally wheels like the one in the spare.
