Default 70 GTO w/Cold Case

Got a quick question for the 70 GTO on the looking at putting a Cold Case radiator in it how is the fitment with these? Are they dead on? Meaning sitting in where the rubber isolators are supposed to sit in the shroud... Tom

I can't speak specifically to the 1970 model year, but the Cold Case I installed in my '66 fit perfectly, as did the Cold Case that my brother installed in his '74. Big improvements in cooling ability were made in both instances, too.

I ordered a Cold Case for a 69 GTO project I am working on. I Ordered it at the end of the day Thursday, it was shipped on Friday, and it was waiting on me when I got home from work Monday. I looked the box over, and then opened it up to check it out. Everything looked good. I finally got a chance to measure it and test fit it into the fan shroud. I have a new fan shroud, and there was extra material on the sides on the driver side that prevented it from going in all the way. I checked it against an original shroud. Once I trim the excess material away from the reproduction shroud it will fit as it should. The polished tanks look so good that I almost hate to paint it, but the owner wants it to look stock at first glance.
So, long story longer, I am confident that a Cold Case will fit your 70 GTO with no issues.
