I recall you had an interesting issue, in your case a little intermittent.

Might want to set up your phone and take some driving video with sound?...might shed some light

I have that, I took the video of the fuel gage with my I Phone. You can't hear much though. It sounds like it runs great. Just a little 'breaking up' sounds at the end of each gear.

I followed your instructions. When I pressed on copy icloud link it said it was preparing then it went back to the video. I went to this thread and didn't know what to do next. I didn't see how to paste it in a message. How do you do that part?

When I click on the reply window the keyboard pops up. How do you paste? Don't know how to do that with an iPhone.

Curious if it does the same thing if you roll up and then beyond that RPM, but aren't standing on it??

I'm swapping the carb off my old plow truck. Same carb just old, dirty and off a Chevy. Feels wrong. lol
Then I will take a test drive with a video and it will be easier to see what's going on.

Only seen this happen on Carter/E-carbs, where the needle's seat screws in pointed up. Seat loose and backs out BUT the float drop tang doesn't let it back out all the way.
Float level ends up way low closing the needle and seat. And at the same time, not enough fuel leaking through the threads for the carb to load up and flood. Did see one that would load up if you let it set at idle for a long time.

On a dual plane intake you end up losing four cylinders when the bowl gets sucked dry.

Depending on float drop setting, the fuel starving could get worse with time as the seat backed out and dropped full float level. Float pushing up against the seat kept it from backing out all the way at one time.

Only seen this a few times (3 maybe) in the past 45 years or so.
