It’s like all the people in an up roar because the Ford trucks commercial is using the East bound and down jingle. Get a life people! Watch the movie again and count ALL the FORD trucks in that movie even tractor trailers. A lot of haters on that commercial. The only change I’d like to see, would be the trucks hauling Coors beer.

Watch this post open a can of snakes.

Thumbs down

My experiences with Ford anything are lackluster at best.

As an avid Smokey and the Bandit fan, the usage of that song to promote their trucks was seen by me as tacky.

Remember, they circled the problem on all of their products.

You wouldn't know a real truck if it bit you on your ass.

While GM keeps trying to find excuses for all of theirs and when they cannot come up with one, they place blame on the user.

For someone who openly (and frequently) calls the Firebird's sister car, the Camaro, a "Crapmaro" you sure are sensitive about things.

And no, I don't think much of your '97 either. It's just a 22 year old truck. Not old enough to be a collector truck and so common they don't generate any interest.

My '81 C10 is a more rare and desirable truck.

NO you’re the one who is “sensitive “ for bringing it up every 5 minutes! I couldn’t care less what you think about any of my cars or trucks. You like Chevy trucks good on you. I won’t tell you it’s the wrong brand, thats your choice hope you like it. But you are the one who got your panties in a bunch about my description of the CAMARO. An 81 C10 truck more desirable? I’ll allow your opinion. LOLOL. blow all the smoke you want. you and I will never agree on most things that’s fine with me. My 97 FORD! Truck was never meant to be a collectible it’s a work horse. My Firebird and TA are the collectibles.

Mary Ann, Consider the source on this guy. I don't know about you but, I don't see a 1981 (anything GM put out) as being a collectible, ever. They were some of the worst built vehicles in history. IIRC, 1979 was the worst year for reliability.

It’s OK I hold no ill will for Champ, his feelings got hurt because of my opinion on a dime a dozen cookie cutter make and model. Then turns it on me. Lol. They don’t call me Firedup for nothing. and I am not sensitive about cars. Passionate yes. Sensitive no. I am very opinionated and I will stand my ground it’s how I roll.

Mine was supposed to have the chrome appearance package including the grille, but the one we ordered, fell off the car carrier, and it was damaged. So we settled for the one I have now. They reduced the price to the price of an F-150. So we took the deal. They also did not have any chrome grilles at the time, so I’m probably going to swap it out soon. It’s a 2016 they should have grilles by now lol.

MaryAnn, I don't know you at all, I don't think we have ever communicated but I really don't like this particular reply you made. It worries me.

In a husband wife relationship, don't you BOTH "hold the funds"??? Isn't it fair and equal that you both should have autonomy over what YOU want. Within reason of course.

If you want a Chevy Blazer, isn't that and shouldn't it be YOUR choice. I don't like to see any partner in any relationship being dictated to by the other (more dominant??) partner. It just is not right.

Nope not like that at all we’re married 32 years, since I got Leukemia, I no longer work, my comment, refers to Mike making the money not being an extremely dominant partner. Lol he holds the funds to make purchases that big. I’m fine with him being picky about the SUV we pick, there are many to choose from, and I can wait a bit longer to find what we want. All is good happy as a clam. nobody “dictates” to me I’m no little mouse of a Woman. It’s like the movie Dirty Dancing....”nobody puts baby in a corner “ that’s me lol.
