My wife’s GSD Dutchess. I was pressure washing the concrete and she has a thing with water coming out of a hose, so the pressure washer sent her through the roof.

Eldorado Fire in Yucaipa, CA taken Saturday night that has grown to 9,000 plus acres at 7% containment this afternoon. Fire started across the upper valley about mid-day when some idiots used a smoke bomb at a gender reveal party at Eldorado Park which is currently nothing but dry weeds and brush. Fire took the afternoon to cross the valley into the hills on fire in the photo, and then made a run back across the valley Sunday endangering the houses in the valley and the hills on the other side.

Our friend called us Sunday afternoon as the fire was heading back towards his house and asked we get his '66 GTO out of danger. My son-in-law and I snuck around barricades and roadblocks and got the car and made it to another club members house where it is now safely stored. The good news is the GTO owners house is safe tonight and probably out of trouble. Our only worry is there are Santa Anna wind conditions forecast for possibly Tuesday and Wednesday and too many hot spots that could spread the fire if the wind kicks up.

The second photo is Sunday morning just as the fire was starting back across the valley. A change in wind could have brought it over to our hills, but lucky for us the wind blew southeast and not southwest.

7 days, 6 nights. A good portion of it off-trail. Alpine Lakes Wilderness area, one of my favorite places on Earth. My old skier knees are rebelling against this kind of thing now, but I'm going to keep doing it 'til I simply can't any more.

The Pics don't do it justice. It was breathtaking! I thought they were cool nonetheless.
