Per your own words above, you bought 235/45/18's, yet now you claim they are 255/45/18's. When you purchased the 235's - you told us that was the biggest tire that Tire Rack said would fit with your knockoff rims with the wrong BS. Why did you need to have Black's Tire measure tires that you already purchased from Tire Rack to see if they would fit? If Mr. Black is such a wonderful person, why didn't you buy your tires from him? Quote:

Suggestion:
The issue is you make 27 posts in 8 threads that are related to the same subject. Concentrate on one subject until you have received an answer you can live with. Then move to the next step in the process with a new different thread. Except for getting your post count up, all of those duplicate posts (related to the same subject) just confuse you and the people trying to help you. At some point people get frustrated with this behavior, then they point out your obvious contradictory posts on the same subject. That is because you can't remember what you posted in the past 27 posts for that day. Your problem is not that you are stupid or retarded, your problem is that you are completely disorganized and when stuff goes wrong then you bad mouth the vendors and the people who tried to help you. Obviously everything that goes wrong, does not fit, etc, is someone's fault (but never your fault). All of above is the truth. When you ask to close a thread like this one because you don't like people pointing out YOUR mistakes, you just wasted everyone's time AGAIN. Tom V.

I dont like going to Blacks because they are high, period. I just had a TPS sensor installed there and he charged me to install it and program it in a separate charge but.....he has the thing from Eastwood that you bolt to the studs and stick the tire on. I sucked it up and took the raping in the name of expediency as I needed rolling stock. 99% of the time I buy tires from Tirerack, take the wheels off the car, take them to the tire shop and have them mounted and bring them home. In this case I didn’t do that.

All I wanted out of this was real world input on the best box not the best bang for your buck box, the best box period. I got it from good people who had experience and I now have the Borgeson. Case closed

![]() According to 'speed, this makes you... *checking my notes* ...an ignorant know-it-all prick. Welcome to the club? ![]() Oh, and Scarebird and Tomslemans67 were absolutely right to call out a potentially racist comment. "This is what Blacks put on"... can easily be construed as racist. On the other hand, "This is what Black's put on" wouldn't be. Neither of them deserve a timeout. But telling moderators how to do their jobs can earn you one. Careful what you wish for... |

They don’t screw me they are just high. They don’t have a personal vendetta, they gouge everyone. This is a tiny town and they have nobody to compete with. Man seriously you’re right, the car doesn’t even exist. I’ve been making it up for years. Will you let it go now?

You do not understand the English language at all and thanks so much for your lesson in political correctness, but Miriam Webster trumps political correctness and being trendy. Also, note the lower case "t" in trumps. It is a vowel, not a noun in this usage and has no political connotation. Scarebird was way off base. I thought personal attacks were not allowed on this board.

Hello everyone let’s do this. My name is David and I have a 64 Tempest that I hope to have fully restored one day. I want it to be a really nice car so I have amassed a truckload of high end parts I have a Ford 9 inch rear with an aluminum thru bolt center section and 31 spline moser axles. The rear has Ford Explorer disc brakes. I had a 468 built using an all forged rotating assembly and topped it off by a custom roller cam and Edelbrock round port heads ported to 315 CFM by Butler. I have a Torker II intake. I am running the Holley sniper fuel injection setup with hyper spark distributor and MSD 6al box for timing control. I bought the extreme TKO600 transmission kit from American Powertrain. I have had every piece of brightwork on the car chromed at S&H plating in Madison Tennessee. I have a Borgeson steering box and UMI sway bar and frame brace on the front. I am running hotchkis springs on the front lowered 1 inch. I am using Wilwood brakes on the front. I have full UMI suspension in the rear with and aluminum driveshaft hooking it all up. I am converting it to hydroboost. I have a pipes x pipe 3 inch exhaust kit with black widow venom 250 mufflers. I have power windows from Nu Relics. I have wheels that resemble torq thrusts but have a smooth magnesium center in 18x8 on all four corners. They may rub when the car is back on the road they may scrub but we will see. I am sure I left some things like the Bluetooth converted factory radio but I think you get the gist. Now that we have started off on a better foot and you know a little about my car maybe you can help me pick a color or even suggest some other upgrades without me having to ask. I really need help with paint color. Interior is black.

I just don’t get it! Pick the color you and the wife wants. Hell with everyone else. You are just going to get mixed opinions. Do what you want to do. Damn! I glad I can make up my own mind instead of having people influence me! And I regrets it

I will make up my mind when I have seen some examples. I’m not just gonna say red for example and drop it off. I want to see people’s red cars. Does it look good? Is it a factory color? Does it have metal flake in it? I saw a copper color someone sent me today. I would have NEVER thought of copper but now it’s on the list. Nothing wrong with getting ideas. I will pick the color ultimately but I want to see some examples besides google images. Nobody is gonna make up my mind

say in the matter, but it really looks like you're calling for retribution. Either you're opposed to calling out racism (not a good look), OR you have some personal beef with him? There were two people that reacted in the same manner, and you continue to single him out. Why? For the record, Scarebird and I don't see eye to eye when it comes to politics, and I'm defending his decision. It was the right thing to do (even if it was technically wrong). |
