276 Formula 455HO cars in 1972. Ram Air and Unitized Ignition were both required options with the 455HO, so they all had them. I'm not 100% certain on the exact breakdown, but I think something like 82 or 84 were M22 cars. I'm not sure if any were three speed manual trans cars.
On the rims, it could have come with steel wheels, you were not limited to rally wheels or honeycombs when it came to a Formula. You have a very cool car Frankie, and it's going to be quite unique if you restore it in the original color. Quote:

Did it sell new in Canada ?
Great that it came with the Y99 Handling Package and Hcombs so 15" wheels with RWL Tires And no up-charge shown for special paint So Julep must have been a Firebird color ? It was special paint / up-charge on 72 GTO |

Yes no rear spoiler but the previous owner put one before I bought it which is on it currently. I have mixed emotions about that.

The trick now is to live long enough to get to it. My 78 needs paint and that one's next. Cool thing is all it really needs is paint. It's a Van Nuyes car and the color is gone. Still glossy but the pigment is gone. I believe it was the first year of water based paint. As far as the Formula is concerned I will start collecting parts. It needs a bunch of sheet metal work. It has some rust. Remember this was the year of the strike, right?

I remember the unitized being a part of a option package but thought it was a midyear intro. Guess November could fit.
