Too cold outside to do anything outside so time for one more truck. Looking at the F-1 on the shelf I realized I could do better so here it is.

The "improvements" are the open cab and more detailed grill area. I'm in the process of learning how to make my own wheels.
Winter is far from over here in WI so I'm sure there will be more to come.

Took a break from woodworking for a while and re-did our utility room. Then I spent a week trying to perfect wheels. I think I got things ironed out.
Anyway I thought the roadster should have a rumble seat so here are the results.
In the meantime I made new wheels for a few of the others.

Had time for one more before the warm weather hits Wisconsin.
This one is patterned after a Ford Model A with a Huckster conversion. There is one of them on display at the Automobile Gallery here in Green Bay.

My plan is to see if the Gallery would like it for display or to use as a fundraiser somehow

One more before summer driving season. Another improvement on the '35 Chevy pick-up. Tried some new wheels and the jury is still out on them.

Just finished a dump truck for a friend who just retired from a driving job. I'm going to surprise him with it at our next VFW get together.
Up next is a model of a '20s Point Beer delivery truck for a brother-in-law who collects all things Point Beer.

Wow, that one is exceptional. The wheels, fenders, and running boards look awesome!

We went to a local tree farm last Christmas and they had some clever wooden vehicles in their store. They weren't as well-crafted as yours but I thought they were pretty unique. Couple photos attached..

That semi and fork lift are very well crafted! Just out of interest, what were the prices on those

They really are art. Your carvings bring me back to simpler times and give a smile.

Don't recall but I'm sure "not enough".

I think the sticker on this logging truck reads $95.

I have no clue where they were made.

Just got back from a month in Florida. We stayed a few nights with friends and wanted to give them something as a thank-you gift. Since both of them were in the Army it was a pretty easy decision. I had an M-37 3/4 ton truck on the shelf with markings on it for the unit I was in so that went to Alabama to a buddy I served with in Nam. The other friend was in an artillery unit so he is getting one with a 105 Howitzer behind it. Hope they like them ( my buddy in AL got his delivered today and he does, in fact, like it).

No, have only given them to friends and for charity auctions. Once you start selling things it becomes a job and I don't need that anymore.
And, what's my Firebird doing in your driveway????

Agreed. Looks like twins. I got this Bird last year, then sold our Vette convertible. I started with Pontiacs back in the 60s then got into Vettes and Camaro's for about 35 years. Now we need a back seat for the grand kid. Texas car but I bought it from your state.

We've gone full circle; I had this hardtop when we got married.

I see now that your 'Bird has white interior, mine is black.
I had an RS '70 Camaro back in the day too. Still miss it every now and then!
