Leaf Spring Rebound Clips
Exchanged a few posts with Craig (Norwood) and it doesn't seem as though he will be producing any more runs of the leaf spring rebound clips
It was a great quality product I don't know of any other source other than Eton but they're blanks that have to be hammered into place Does anyone know of an alternative source or be willing to part with an extra set you may have? Thanks

Used ones typically the tab breaks, so .. Hammering might be all thats left. I have clamped and welded many tabs.

That part
Is that the bracket that holds the individual leafts on a complete unit? I was thinking of how to clean and paint mine all up. I'm pre planing my restoration. I want to do it right.

That's right, they wrap around the individual leafs. They were not painted, but of course, can be painted to represent that also.

I buy them from Heartbeat along with the plastic sliders (if so equipped) and rebuild the leafs myself.
https://www.heartbeatcitycamaro.com/...-Kit-w-5-Leafs They also have 4 leaf kits. Works fine on firebird stuff I haven't looked but places like Inline Tube may also have stuff like this, worth a look. |

great for the resto guys but also a very limited market for those who did produce, again, would be in limited runs when enough interest to do some.

Probably not a hot seller, and honestly I don't think they ever will be, but they are out there to be had if you just search outside the small Pontiac community.
Heartbeat has been selling these for at least 15 years when I first bought a set from them, and most likely much longer than that. I'm lucky in the fact that I have Dunbar Spring local to rely on if need be, for more obscure spring clamps for instance a tri-5 chevy that has a very narrow spring pack. They've been in business since 1919 making springs for buggies and have every spring part or piece you could imagine. Maybe give them a call. |

Your link was dead...I'm guessing this is what your referring too? https://www.heartbeatcitycamaro.com/...Kit-w-5-Leafs/ I actually did buy this kit for the plastic sliders but I believe there were two different size metal rebound clips for the birds. Craig would know better than I. Also checked Inline...nothing

AMK is the supplier, I am waiting on the part # from a Camaro friend. You need two mustang sets to do one camaro/firebird side.

Camaro uses 5 leaf vs Trans Ams 4 thus different lengths

I really don’t see how this will work without major modification as I made different sizes for different places on the spring. I had a clip that went around 2 leafs and another for 4 . https://www.cjponyparts.com/leaf-spr...SABEgKpp_D_BwE

Looks like three different sizes came in the mustang kit I purchased. Most likely the same ones offered by amk.
