Please share the model, year, engine, and if California emissions or not. That will help pinpoint exactly what the lines are for.
They look like the 70 bird California fuel tank vapor recovery lines but I want to be sure.

Not sure this will help but when I had a stock tank set up in my car I had a leak in the front passenger corner. Turns out there is a vent there that has a short rubber hose that goes up above the rear. The original rubber hose had cracked/dry rotted and let gas spill out. There was also an obvious vent on the filler neck.

Do you have the 1972 Service and Assembly Manuals? Full of that fuel system info, I've had to upload it in the past.

did you remove the clamps from those hoses?
Because they should all be secured.
