So I was following the 69 3 on tree Bird whos revised price was 26k or best offer.
Auction ended and it doesnt show as sold.
I guess since it dint reach 26K the seller didnt sell.

78 T/A project car with new pans and a non running 400 at $7800 NR in NC. I'd like to buy that 70-73 nose hanging over the garage.

I know there's no ugly Pontiacs, but if there was one, just sayin'. 68 GP highly optioned in Alabama at $2600 with a reserve. No engine pics and 87K miles.

I used to think '68 Gp's were ugly... they have been growing on me in recent years.

Maybe it's the vinyl top that throwing me off? I don't think it complements the car. Also, the rear wheel covers are covering up the 8 lugs, which are very nice looking rims.

Agree it's cool, but it's not pretty IMO. Everything from the door handles back is a bulbous butt to me. Even the trunk lid has a crease down the center. I did a search to find a nicer looking one, but most of them had vinyl tops that are offset from the body lines by a noticeable gap. The one below looks cooler without the wheel covers, but it would look better without the vinyl top like the bottom one. The bottom red one is a 428 4-speed car and really cool.

Not sure how a complete front-end hideaway set up didn't work, but it doesn't IMO... still cool.

I suppose but you can't be the prettiest in the lineup...I'm a sucker for hide-a-ways I guess

For some reason, the body lines remind me of a Riviera...I like.

Nothing ugly about a '68 GP in my opinion. Very cool car and you just don't see them much. I tried to buy one that sat under a carport in my old neighborhood back in the early '80s but was a no sale.

I think they look really wild and spacey.
And a little boat tail Riviera in the rear view.

The one on eBay is almost exactly like the car used in the mob/gangster movie Good Fellas
Movie car didn't have 8-Lug wheels.

I owned a 68 GP in the 90’s. Nice driving car, 400/400/AC with highway gears. Mine was a bench seat car with the armrest.

Putting aside personal taste the 68 GP, like the 70 riviera were just not well styled, they both had cumbersome proportions and poorly detailed, unusual for a luxury GM car of the era.

This was especially surprising since the 68 GP was the first GP that benefitted from entirely new and exclusive styling of the entire back end of the car. Everything from the tail panel, bumper, deck, quarters and roof were new and unique. No previous GP had ever had this budget.
