Are 66 and 67 GTO frames the same? They used different rear springs. Are the rear spring towers different, or are the same and will accept both string types?

I have 66 springs in a 67 frame. So I would say they are interchangeable.

1964-67 frames are all dimensionally identical. The rear spring tower is different for '67, but all you need to do is use a rear coil spring that is appropriate for the year of the frame. Everything else is the same.
