Default For all you ballers in Nashville ... Car Condos.

https://rallypointmc.com/

Yes, for as little as $200K you can live your Dan Tanna fantasy and park your car in your "living room". For those of you too young to remember, Tanna (Robert Urich) was a private detective on a TV series Vega$ who famously parked his vintage Tbird in his man-cave condo and had an ex-Vegas showgirl "girl Friday" he hung out with along with a goofy right hand man (Bart Braverman).

Back to "reality" in Hendersonville TN, storage units have running water, bathroom facilities and provisions for a kitchenette. I doubt they are zoned residential so you can't live there but you can hang out with your car and head down to the members' clubhouse to mingle with other like-minded persons in pursuit of ways to waste money.

I'm scratching my head as this looks to me like a dressed-up Self-Storage facility with a clubhouse, but judging by the % of pre-sold units, I guess the rich need something else to waste their money on.

It been forever since I read one, but the DIrk Pitt character in Clive Cussler's book series lived in an aircraft hangar that had his collection of cool cars and planes with an apartment built into it. I always thought that was cool as heck. My wife not so much.

We have very different opinions on the proper ratio of garage space to house space.

These are becoming fairly popular here in Colorado as well. Not necessarily auto condo's specifically but having the storage based flex space. Typically they become auto condos of course.

Service and entertainment. If you can get into a condo and have it well equipped for 300K, some of the business possibilities are intriguing. High end car storage, clubs, event space etc.

Big Clive Cussler fan here too. Surprised more of his novels didn't make it to the small or big screen besides 2005's "Sahara" (with it's miss-cast characters).

we have one local its called the M1 concourse. also building another one in howell Mi as of now. very cool set ups. its like a pissing match between big money and money wannabe's as to who has the coolest stuff. Burd here has been inside a few i think. Our local pontiac club has been on site for the dream cruise. I looked into one at the initial offering of 50k. they now sell for 150k same size. i was looking to get someone to go in it as it was big enough for 2 cars at least.

Back in 2008 when everything was going out of business, I wanted to buy an old Jiffy lube building down the street that was vacant The dream would have been to gut the place and turn it into a cool man cave/remote garage.

I could never get the wife/CFO on board with the idea. She lacks “vision” for that sort of thing.

I'd need a new wardrobe, new hair style, new European sports car and a complete loss of my dignity to fit in there.

But to combine car storage with a social space...genius

I'm sure I'd piss them off with my wore out Levi's.. t-shirts... dirty shoes and grubby 50+ year old muscle cars.

Those have become a thing nationwide. An old colleague of mine is raising money for a company that builds 'em in Texas.

Hendersonville is a very nice neighborhood, I'm guessing there is a ready supply of customers there.

Within a couple of years I hope to get over Nashville way to talk to the guys at Prancing Horse.
