Default Adjusting a dual gate shifter.

Installed a dual gate in my 67 and I am having trouble getting it adjusted. I bought the whole setup from parts Plus. I have it adjusted so that park and reverse are in the right spots. Neutral and drive are mis adjusted. I can get it into neutral but to get it into drive I have to move the handle down a little and then back up and it will go into drive.

Did it come with the shift arm for the transmission with the slot in the bottom where the shift cable attaches? I have never seen their parts but if the throw on the shifter and the length of that arm don't match the shift pattern won't be correct. Also the core of the cable has to be the correct length. Do you know any body that has the factory set up you can compare yours with?

Great
Did you call them and explain your issue or just order the parts online?
I remember calling them and they told me exactly what I needed and it worked perfectly.

Is it an OEM shifter or a repop....guessing a repop, since you mention
"The Parts Place" or did you mean something else? The lever bolted to the TH400 shifter rod will likely look something like this and ultimately you can modify the slot or radius of yours.
I've got a decent '67 oem shifter that's not complete if you think the repop is "off a bit" and need a sanity check.

It's a repop. I have that lever and opened it up as far as I could. Neutral and drive weren't where they were supposed to be.
