69 Lemans 4-speed convertible in Ohio at $40K BIN. Pretty colors. The 350-2 sticker is one I don't get. Just to remove any confusion, this is a 2BBL.

Nice car. Looks solid but far from mint. If it was an automatic it would be worth about $18 so probably $25 k tops due to factory 4 spd

The PHS says it came with Rally I's. Not very common on a '68.

Other than the 71-75 Honeycombs, Rally I's are my favorite.

70 Lemans Sport in Tennessee at $48K BIN. That's a lot of money for a car like this, and far too high IMO. A lot of work went into the car.

I hope this is controversial, but hear me out. 81 Trans AM in Florida at $30K BIN. Beautiful car with a GM crate 350. The cloth interior isn't my favorite, but it supposedly only has 72K mikes on it. The fact that it has a GM (Chevy) 350 is a big plus. I owned an 81 Turbo Trans AM in 1982 and it was such a well handling car, but gutless. Maroon with a red interior, she was a stunner. Would you really want a rebuilt stock engine over the crate engine in this car?

That looks like a Foose creation...thinkin' too much $ invested for an adequate return.

I wouldn't put either boat anchor in this car but its personal preference...

What would you put in it? The last engine I did was a 75 400 block, Edelbrock heads 72cc D port, .30 over, Edelbrock intake and water pump Ram Air D port exhaust in a 75 Trans AM. I easily have $10K in the engine. Crates are cheaper and run fine. If the objective is to just drive the car, and you don't really care if you can do burnouts, it's a good alternative to have a reliable car. I don't get the hate. I understand it, but there are options and decisions to be made. For the record, I highly dislike Chevy engines in pre 1971 cars. For most 72 and up engines, they were dogs... especially in the 79 T/A. Little known fact, a 79 T/A WS6 won Road and Track best handling car of the year (I'm pretty sure). They handle well, but were always dog slow.

If it were me I would get a Lenny crate and keep it all pontipig - that's what makes it special and makes it go! 🎃

If I wanted to go fast on a budget I would LS a camaro but I get it, Ponitacs are expensive to build or to crate but to each his own.

I yearn for the old days when you could get a complete runnin' injun from the junkyard...dating myself...lol

72 455 GTO in Indiana at $12.5K NR. Has the original 455 (not running) and someone swapped the automatic for a 4-speed. Crusty McRusty would scare me away. Needs a lot.

Artic blades??

What was the original color, not understanding the code on the PHS?

I see a Q, so Verdoro for original color.
Im guessing the Artic Blades are Arctic winter wiper blades maybe? The car was sold new in Colorado

81 Turbo Trans AM rusted Daytona Pace car project with Recaro seats in Michigan at $10K BIN. Rode hard and put up wet, this car is easily worth the asking in parts IMO. I don't recall ever seeing a set of the Recaro red seats for sale. The suspension and all the options that came on this car are cool, but those seats are drop dead sexy.

69 Firebird Carousel Red/Ivory White top and Parchment interior 350HO convertible in NC at NR $32K. I own 2 69 350HO convertibles, and neither of them have the original engines. I do have one 350HO stick engine, but the other one has a 400 auto in it just like this one does. Depending on what data you trust, it is rumored they only made a total of 112 69 350HO convertibles. If you wanted to go fast, there was the 400 option. If you just wanted a V8, the 350 2BBL was fine. If you wanted a six, there was the Sprint 6 and std 6. This 350HO option was intended to dodge insurance premiums. There are no identifying outside indicators of this car being an HO. The valve covers on these cars were painted and it looked like a std 350 and it came with a std hood with 350 emblems only. The HP numbers are very close to the 400, and there's a question of the real HP vs. what was published. If you put long branch exhaust and rebuild them stock, it's a great engine. This car is rare because the concept didn't sell, but it's a real attempt to slide one under the bar and have a performance car. Special paint and this is most probably a 1 of 1 car. Very, very cool. Damn PHS for not releasing production numbers like the Martini report. I'd gladly pay $200 for the proof of the rarity of my cars.

69 GTO 4-speed in Limelight green in Ohio at $60K. Pretty color, but the Judge stuff detracts IMO. The vinyl top on this car looks real sharp.
