Next up is a summer 2024 purchase. A really nice original 69 Firebird ragtop in Mayfair Maize with black top and black standard guts. It's a numbers match 400 HO, 4 spd car. Original owner owned it until recently and he ordered it new from Germany through the military program when he was stationed there. He picked it up in San Fran on his return to civilian life at the end of 1968. Built before the Ram Air option was offered so it has the same look as a regular 400 with the exception of camshaft, HO exhaust and gearing.

Condition is exceptional with the interior and undercarriage 100% untouched original, even the convertible top is factory installed original including the plastic back lite. Engine bay is all original but detailed and rust and hit free body was repainted very nicely in the factory color. Car needs some mechanical sorting out but otherwise a sweet ride.
