There aren't but about 20 of them known.
Has to still be a lot of them out there that have lost their identity, and drivetrains,
and/or never been PHS'd.

Very very low survival rate.

Extreme Congrats Tygrr67

Tygrr67,

Have you verified if this ‘67 has its factory installed “Powertrain” yet?

Most of these rare cars are missing one, or most of the powertrain components.

Thanks!

Default 1967 Ram Air GTO's

For those interested, I've been in touch with Jim Mattison regarding my car. Evidently, 78 cars (VINs) have been identified thus far.

Interesting so many have been located, but then again that's only 10% +/- of the 751 built...

That is really interesting info about the amount that have been certified.

I came across hundreds of 67 GTO parts cars around here in my junkyarding days from mid 80s through mid 90s .
Wish there had been a time when PMD offered free docs on 67s I might could have gotten lucky at least once.

I did pay for documents on several that I liked the color combos on ,
but they all came back as WT cars.
As far as complete functional cars , it was a unique rarity to find a complete HO car.

Did you have to buy another car to get the engine ?
Looks like it's sitting in an AC car
Was it in the wrecked TA in the barn ?

Does the EUN above the XS code , match the EUN on the PHS document ?
The EUN lines up with a date range of 11D body build , so it likely will match .
W O W !

You are correct. For some reason they put the 67 XS engine into the 81 Trans Am. I'm guessing because the 301 wasn't enough of an engine.... I did not buy the Trans Am. The person I bought the car from owns the Trans Am. He wants to sell me the engine now and put a 455 into the TA.

Yes, the EUN matches the EUN stamping on the block. See attached picture, but this means that the block and heads are the numbers matching 400 XS block to my car. The seller and I are working out some details on the price for the block and heads. But... the motor is loose and would probably run..

Totally Incredible about the engine.
Pay any price below a kings ransom .

Looks like it sold new in Michigan by the state codes 21 / 21
What is the dealer code ? Maybe it was a PMD car or a Royal car .
PMD would be 35-997 or 35-998
Royal would be 07-679

Don't think I have seen another RA car with R1 wheels and Disc Brakes

You should probably just sell it to me after you get the engine.

My mistake , it has a holdback amount listed.
It won't be PMD
But could still be Royal Oaks
