This 69 bird is a scam. I bought it this summer on BAT. Car is sitting in my garage as we speak. I advised eBay.

RamAir is an add-on
But would have the expensive 15" R2 wheels like a TA with the Y99 Handling option.
And extra fat sway bars.
Cool car and looks good .

I don't think John Wayne was even brave enough for that rescue.

Good catch. A beautiful stock steering wheel makes a stock interior so much nicer than those fat wood wheels. I'm in the minority and I know that, but FWIW I love me a stock steering wheel and this one is sweet. Stock black ball shifter is the jam and looks awesome. Those BB shift knobs fetch a lot on eBay.



You can kind of see the engine in this pic. Love the side wing windows.

An entry to the options I love the least is on display with the wheel covers on this 1971 Luxury Lemans in CA at $2K with a reserve. It looks fat. Phat? uh... Good base for 70 GTO clone. The interior is a bench, but very nice. Fake wood steering wheel actually looks cool to me. Wonder what the standard options were on a Luxury model? I know nothing about them.

In addition to that clear rim steering wheel, it's also still wearing its original CA-only air pump. I didn't expect to see that, with those fat wheels on the back. Neat car.

I am also in the minority that prefers the stock steering wheels. I like the nice original 67 wheel in my FB. This is the best picture I have on my HD of it.

That's a sweet looking steering wheel and really sets off the all blue interior. I love the 67 - 71 Pontiacs with a different color interior. How many cars have you ever been in where every damn thing in the car is bright blue? It's awesome. My 70 GTO when I was 16 had a red interior (it's why I love them) and you'd seriously have to readjust your eyes when you stepped out of it.
