The cable type release setup was first used in a '73 Bird, & with the small original parts often lost, misplaced, it's great deal that they have been reproduced.

That 1973 repop kit is not an exact match by any means but was made to work for 1973 cars which was a 1 year style.
An original 1973 stock set up sold on facebook for over $350 recently. Not easy to find - and expensive when you do. Restore a Musclecar at least has something that works you can get today. |

realize, the repro is not flawless exact, have the original for my BG 4spd project.

If anyone has just the cable (with handle etc) I could use one. My cable is frayed and have yet to see if that can be repaired or replaced.
