67 Firebird convertible at $49K in CA. Looks like a fully erect trunk mounted antenna, which is kinda odd, unless I missed something. Nice enough car, but not worth that much.

69 Firebird running project in Michigan at $10K with a reserve (asking $16.5K). This looks like a good example of a car that was too far gone from the start. The interior is incomplete and has a NOM Pontiac 400 engine. Just because one has a lot of money in replacing sheet metal, doesn't mean you're going to recoup that when you sell it. As a buyer, you have to trust that the metal work was done right, so there's a risk there. The moral of the story is don't start with a heavily rusted car. Starting with a rust free shell would look better once done and cost a lot less to finish, though you'll pay more for it when you buy it. I don't think the car is worth the reserve. Not many pics.

76 Firebird Esprit in CA at $3500 NR. This car is near perfect for a Trans AM clone. Cushy horse collar seats and a rust free CA body. Who cares if it even runs, because you're going to put a new engine in it anyway. Trans AM fenders didn't used to be hard to find, because any year fender from 70-81 will fit. Pick the nose you want based on the year (I have a 72 front end in my shed), and paint it the color you want. Sounds like a manageable project. You could take it to a local Maco for paint and see who talks to you. If the person is gawking at your car and pleading to be the one to paint it, it doesn't have to cost $10K, because it's a clone and probably look awesome af.

Forgot to post to obvious, a 76 T/A clone. All you need is a pair of fenders and a T/A hood and shaker. The hardtop clones look a lot better than the T-Top clones IMO.

76 Firebird in Kentucky at $7500. The front license plate would get you in trouble where I live. Seller has 0 feedback, but may be a deal there?
