I would call Bullet, but my LSM 55mm cam is a 262/[email protected] with 119 LSA .480/.470 LL. Steve from LSM likes this wide lobe for less overlap for turbo application. I haven't ran this yet but this year I would. My old cam that made 1265 HP@ 5900 rpm on a 482 with 15 psi was a LSM 254/[email protected] 116LSA .450 LL.

my tuner is suggesting we can get to the chassis cert with a hyrdraulic roller at less than 6500. i would rather have more potential then i need, my aluminum motor has 55mm journals, ive considered that path but then i would also need new non offset 903 lifters. but i have not completely discounted that idea yet.
what heads are you running?

Remember a turbo will add 1000 rpm to any intake and can set up
So whatever it was good for before its good to 1000 more I raced my turbo car w a dual plane performer. Everyone said it wouldn’t work went 10.00 first pass off the trailer It now had a cut down victor to fit job see the hood w efi but I liked the performer better . I can get you my cam motion specs next time I’m At the shop but to get you going 114 LSA. Approx 560 lift I always ran solid flat tappets no need for roller $$ unless you My engine has been together so long I honestly can’t remember the specs on that last cam but I have a can card from a better one I had done , it was close but better I pulled it out when I had some popping and banging issues .( Blew the hood off the car at pinks day at LVD ) But it wasn’t the cam I chased my tail for a full year ended up being RF signal from the MSD even though I’d asked them about that as. Possibility over and over. What are you trying to do with it?

did your engine prefer the split patterns or the even pattern? your head flows in the 330 range?

thank you Erik i am super impressed with your ride. Missed getting a chance to talk to you at sickweek . looked like the two cars your camp brought were doing well.
if you went single turbo what do you think the equivalent would be? i want enough power to get to low 8s but realistically i will not update the chassis to 750 cert. I just want to be ablt to run 850s at will and drive the ass off it when not at the track

There really is no wrong cam for a turbo setup. There are "optimized" cams yes but wrong cams, no. The turbo doesn't care.

I've had your cam card saved for a while. I'm thinking it would work great for what I'd like to do with my car. My rough plan is a single 88mm-91mm and keeping rpm around 7K'ish. Something to drag and drive. If I could crack into the high 5's in the 1/8th I'd be more than satisfied. Big rowdy N/A cams aren't as fun as they used to be when I was younger

It’s also a big misconception that you need a roller cam I know guys running 7s on solid flat tapper cams. And 2.5 inch pipes from the header to the turbo .
