... aft of the exhaust manifolds?

(Apoligies to the regulars if this is repeating any earlier threads/posts - need to return to the job of specifying and purchasing parts to get the olde Goate on the road.)

To the point:

Placing an order soon for the exhaust system. Can't seem to find an authoritative source on the differences between standard and HO for convertibles.

While primaries are obviously different, what about the mufflers, tailpipes and tips? Did the Convertible use resonators? (A little sad that the splitters were not factory on a '67, but have a tremendous temptation to give that little bit of trivia the Michigan Left Turn signal...)

Will either be going through my 335 hp engine, when it is out, or stabbing in the 421, will be replacing the exhaust with the HO manifolds, regardless.

If you did this job, what supplier did you use and how do you like the results?

Gardner Exhaust is the best.

Factory applications.
1966 GTO auto / manual came with resonators.
1967 GTO auto came with resonators.
1967 GTO manual did not come with resonators.

Convertible has no bearing on the exhaust system.
