Default Quick Hello

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking for a few years, and i finally decided to join. Here's a quick summary of my collection:

67 GTO -- Resto mod, interior from a 2006 GTO, power windows, 455, 200R4, having a little overheating issue and working through that
69 GTO -- Project in the works. Bought it while it was someone else's project and they had started an LS2 swap. I'm going to try to shoehorn an LT4 into it
2001 Firebird -- Firehawk, M6, Auburn diff, solid roof, black. It's my fun, running around the neighborhood car.

I'll contribute to discussions where I can, but I'm still learning (kind of a life-long process, really). I look forward to meeting/chatting with the members here.

Nice lineup! That LT4 is an absolute unit. That 69 is gonna move out!

Very nice cars. Are you using the insulated hood pad on your 67? I had one in my car and removed it when I thought I was going to get a repaint, but that fell through. I never put the pad back in and noticed my water temp was about 20 degrees lower.

No hood pad. That interesting to know you ran cooler without it. I had the hood vents opened up, but that's more cosmetic than functional.

North side, around Cactus and the 51. I think there are a few GTO owners in the neighborhood.

Do you check out the cruise at the Pavilions? I haven’t been in a long time. I live in Goodyear.

I get there once in a while when life/work allows. At the moment, my 67 is overheating so I'm not able to take it anywhere, but I may have to take my 2001 Firehawk to make sure that that the 4th gen Firebirds are represented.
