Default Electrical Question

I’m running plastic conduit using 12 gauge THHN wire. Since it’s a stranded wire, is there something that goes on the end before I put it into the outlet? Also since I have to go into a junction box first, can they be wire nutted together?

You can wire nut in a junction box as long as it remains accessible. On the outlet you will need to use the side terminals. The stab holes are for solid wire only.

Put the U shaped terminals on the ends.
