I have changed most of my interior lighting to led. A 79 trans am has foot lights correct? I think my bulbs are blown, the interior dome light works but I have never noticed foot lights. Any tips on locating the bulb socket location?

The lower lights may have been an option but almost every firebird or TA ive had has had them.
The lower kick panel lights are mounted on the far corners under the dash, grey plastic housings for the bulbs, look above the E-brake pedal area, should see them easily. |

I am going to look around as soon as it cools off, garage is probably above 100 degrees right now, cannot wait for August and September, that should be fun.

You won't have those lights unless the optional lighting package was there. If you have a glove box light and trunk light, then you will also have the foot lights.

This link shows the lower dash lights in a couple of the pics... as well as all the other wiring & lighting locations. Lots of other great info for these cars on this older website.

Yeah, I do not have the others. I searched around yesterday, I see no sockets, nothing which is fine.
