That Blue 64 is extremely nice and the 56k price seems unrealistic.
Seller shows to be a FB member since 2006 , so might be legit.

TriPower is a 66 , so not original heads - and doubtful original block.
The whole car might be a fantasy build with much lesser pedigree.
But it sure is Beautiful and well done.

Nobody would sell a legit documented car of that status for 56k obo.
There has to be a catch.

Contacted them yesterday afternoon about PHS or PoP and got a fairly quick response.
Said he is selling the car for his father , and father has stack of papers on the car.
Would check with him about PHS or PoP and get back to me.
No word back yet.

Friend of mine could use a car like that.

That '64 sits up too high. I'm betting the wheels under the wheel covers are not originals. Car appears to have had a lot of restoration work.

Still no answer back about any car credentials on the 64 .
It's either a scam altogether , or a heavily modified clone.

Perhaps phishing for a no questions asked out of state buyer .

Never did hear back from this guy.
His first reply was very quick - then ghost town.

There has been a ton of scammy looking GTO listings the last few weeks. All the same feel, nice looking car, decent pictures, very short description and price that is too low but not stupid obvious low.

407 area code is Orlando area.
The 890 I looked up is a VoiP, which I think is a known spammer type operation?

FTC Cease & Desist Order

So, I would not call them?

I don’t believe there’s actually a safe way to store a car outdoors. The dirt, the humidity and varmints will always succeed in damaging the car, often beyond repair.

Poor car. They made a 68 GTO ugly but it has an Auto 4 speed. https://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/c...870553907.html

Big block Chevy swap on the old 68 too.
It might could pass as an SS with some emblems.
