After seeing this damage, I went to check my EFI high pressure fuel line, and discovered some chaffing of the line from rubbing against the transmission housing and back of the block, WOW! I enclosed the fuel line with about 20" of 3/4 rubber fuel line, essentially forming a conduit. So guys who are also running your high pressure EFI along the frame and back of the block near the transmission case, check it now. Sorry for your loss, but thanks for the heads-up.

Originally I had run like a stock fuel line. I couldn't get it to run right. So I brought it to a shop. It ended up being a bad efi unit so the shop bought a new unit and installed it at that time they rerouted the fuel line behind the back of the engine.

Faulty fuel line installation caused that fire almost certainly.
