Got the radiator all flushed out, got the rebuilt rear end put back in, and took it for a little 9 mile easy drive for the break-in.
Tomorrow, another little drive, then recheck everything and let her rip!

Replaced the existing positive battery cable with a new 2 gauge cable. Also replaced the current starter with a RobbMc with the pinon support.

Took the seats out of the Ventura and dropped them off at the upholsterer. Can't wait to get those back to their groovy plaid '70s glory.

The kids and I went over to Martinez for the monthly downtown car show and to grab some dinner. Got a laugh out of my daughter's hair blowing in the wind on the way. Saw a pretty sweet '67 GP convert there. Great cruising weather on the way back so we took the long way and stopped for ice cream.

POR15'd the area under my back seat Have a couple of rust through spots, but it will at least slow it down until I have it cut out in winter of 2026.
Tried out my new ultrasonic cleaner. Cleaned up 3 pairs of front turn signals. Can't decide if I should paint or just spray some clear on them. Afraid they will rust up again with just clear.

Installed Powermaster XS CS130 with adjustable volt reg. 378028

14v solid at idle and not much of a PIA aside from the ground wire I have is C small terminal vs big ring like the PM wants so I used the small 1/4" casing bolt like my old alt.

My alt power wire is maybe 8awg but probably 10awg so I'll update that this winter.

Me too! Just installed both pos & neg cables with new custom made 2-gauge cables when I installed a new HD factory rebuilt starter & solenoid on my '70 Lemans. I wish I had told the guy to make the positive cable black as well...dang!

If you look closely, you'll see a brand new sway bar under there. Got it installed late last night and took it for a drive today. Big improvement over not having a bar!
