Ken, would you be interested in doing a waterslide of the air cleaner decal for the '63 wire mesh air filter? Nobody seems to be doing these. I have an air cleaner with a fairly well preserved decal (including a couple factory wrinkles). I snapped a couple pics which I just need to shrink to uploadable size, but I could send you the whole air cleaner, if you're actually of a mind to add these to your repertoire.
(This is not the A96c element with the foam, but the naked wire mesh oil bath element.)

Ken, The SD455 valve cover decals are amazing. Sign me up for a couple.

I received the corrected SD-455 valve cover decals with the grain going the right way today. The way they did them is interesting. They look embossed, but it's actually clear coat applied to specific areas of the decal. As a result, they may a little glossier than the originals, but I'm really happy with them and they're light years more accurate than the existing repro.
To those that helped and provided references, I'll drop some in the mail as a thanks. I borrowed my son's Ventura to test them out. I think I have the '66 and '67 tire pressure water slides in a good spot. Thanks to Jeff Hamlin and Rob (SR-71) for helping out. Now I have the '72 455 HO emissions to finish up. Thanks to 65madgoat for his extreme patience. I'm also kicking around ideas for t-shirts based on decals, emblems and Pontiac design features - things like the dual gate shift pattern, the ram air knob, a honeycomb wheel, a Rally II with a redline tire, hood tach, etc. I have a few samples ordered based on art I had. Pretty sure someone makes a 455HO shirt already, but it was easy to draw.

Ken, I'd be in for shirts. You gotta use a good quality shirt though....not like to Roadkill shirts where the collar stretches out after a few washes.

I'm picky about my t-shirts, too. We'll see how the samples are.
I put this one together last night. The wheel looks photographic in the pic, but the graphic is stylized with a little texture. Debating what I could put on the back, if anything. Depending on how this comes out, I'd like to do a dog dish, Rally I, Rally II and a Snowflake - and maybe one combines all of them. I'm not sure if these would appeal to anyone else, but I'm not really a fan of the typical car show shirt and prefer more simple designs.

Shirts ready to wear. They’d be produced and delivered through a 3rd party which is why I’m keen to have a few samples before I really put them out there.

They turned out awesome Ken! Thanks for taking on making these as there was nothing out there that even came close to being the same as OEM. Great work!

I put together a couple more shirt ideas. I ran around a car show yesterday taking pictures of wheels and ran into a Grand Prix with a set of 8 lugs and the lightbulb went off. I really like how that one's coming together.
My original concept was to use the black shirt to represent the tire. I've been debating whether to include a tire which would allow more shirt color choices to match your car or whatever, but it's not quite as arty. It also makes for a larger print area which can sometimes feel a little stiff and doesn't wear as well. I ordered samples of both. I received my first test shirt with the 455HO logo over the weekend. It's a nice thick Gildan 5000 t-shirt (they have a ton of options for shirts) and high quality printing. I just need to know if the the more complicated designs will look good.

I'd wear any one of those. I hear you on the larger print being stiff, but I personally, like the color palette availability.
Ive sold T shirts before, so I get it......but long sleeve option are something I'm always looking for. Adds complexity to the SKUs, but I've got so many Tshirts, and only the same 8 long sleeves I wear in colder weather.

+1 for long fin, silver 8-lugs with '63 center caps (okay, okay, I'm partial...).
For some reason, I've had more than the usual number of people recently come up to me to comment on my 8-lugs. I guess I'm doing a good job of keeping them clean and shiny. :-D

I sent out a number of SD-455 decals over the last week. It's been a good response so far. I hope folks are happy with them. I'm working on a reorder of waterslides and paper decals from Ames as well, so someone must be buying my decals.
I also got another batch of test shirts on Friday. These came out pretty good, but I think I the colors aren't quite as rich as I was hoping. That's largely due to the process where they use a white under print. The orientation of the RII wheel was bugging me, so went back and redid the art for that one after seeing the samples. I sent a couple shirts out to folks in the forum as a thanks for their support. If anyone wants one of the samples below, send me a PM with your address and I'll drop it in the mail for you. I have 1 of each in XL: - RII w/redline on black - RII w/redline tire on grey - 8 lug w/ white wall on black - SD-455 on blue heather Otherwise, I have the 455HO, RII and 8 lug shirts available in a number of colors on my Etsy site.
