Default 1965 Catalina 2+2 Body Trim Molding Clips, Studs, and Nuts

I recently moved and had to throw an emergency coat of paint on the 2+2 so that I could move it from the shop to the new home where I knew it would be in the elements for a little while until the garage was settled.

It is far from perfect, but it is a nice looking 30 footer. It will be a good while before I can sand, prime, block, rinse, repeat, and re-spray. So, I have decided to put the trim back on it and drive it. That's what it was made for. But...

The trim has been off for over 20 years, most of it was off when I bought it. I have no idea what some of the trim mounting clips are supposed to look like. I know which clips I need for the front windshield and back glass. Any direction of the following would be greatly appreciated.

1. Lower side trim clips. *below the bottom flare line. Fender dog leg, door, quarter before and after tire. are these the spring loaded clips with bolts? the holes are all round.

2. Vinyl or painted top molding that goes around rear pillar and below the back glass. Again these are round holes. You can see them in the photo, I have small rubber body plugs in the holes to keep rain out.

3. Various nuts for emblems, tail panel, clips, etc. Some are plain, some have sealer. What are they called? What are the common sizes?

I went through the Ames catalog but its tough when you don't really know what you are looking for.

Thank you!

Holy Cow! I just found the post from when I brought this thing home from June 2006. I guess body work is not the best, AND I am really slow.
