Default RA4 block 9792506

I came across this block and thought I would post here, before I do something else with it, in case someone has the car it came from?

Do all the 69 RA4 blocks have the last 4 digits ground and stamped?

Some have the last 4 ground off
Some have them all ground off

If I'm remembering right , only 68 model year blocks were full As-Cast numbers.
SR's might could be anything amongst those mixtures.

Thank you. A friend of mine is doing some work on a RA4 69 GTO. The last 4 are ground off and stamped. Also the EUN has a digit thats stamped higher than the rest and the partial vin is next to the EUN. All new to my eyes.

Shouldn’t there be one more digit On that vin after the P?

Scratch that. Just realized my vin is incorrect on my reg on one of my cars , lol. Well at least I found that issue.

The whole EUN should look more hand stamped than machine stamped.
Fremont and Atlanta (1969) put the VINs in the upper zone.
