Yeah. Wish it wasn’t all the way across the country for me. I have a feeling it might go for a real fair price and would make a great original driver just to cruise around in.

69 Lemans convertible "Judge" tribute (3 stickers and that's it) in Iowa at $38K. The car has been around a few times, but if one looks at it for what it is, it's a damn sharp car. Remove the stickers and leave the hood stock Lemans, and damn the front of this car looks sharp. Very clean. Without the stickers, I would love to drive this car. With the stickers, only people like us even know it's not a real Judge convertible, but I do. Worth it IMO.

That white 65 GTO is really something.
Such a shame it lost its original engine block .

There was one amazingly similar sold at Mecum a few months that brought good money.
It was a restoration though.

70 Trans AM in CA at $60K. Decisions were made... 455 6 speed (with a Hurst logo on the console) and it comes with the original rebuilt engine and an auto transmission. The Formula hood is weird and I see no reason to have a rollbar in this car. The custom interior in the back seat is a waste, as anyone sitting back there, if they could get back there, would have a face full of rollbar in an accident. Not my cup O'tea and overpriced IMO.

67 Firebird in Arizona at $35K BIN. Regimental red with a red interior looks very cool IMO. Not a fan of the red on the Rally II's, but whatever. I think the inline 6 cars are as cool, if not cooler, than the 350 2BBL. Pretty car cand worth it IMO.

That 67 Bird is nice looking, I could do without the chin spoiler, but it looks like a solid car, but other than the Automatic trans, and the Delux interior I don't see to many options on it. $35k is a big asking price for a very base 6 cylinder car IMO. But you could do alot worse for than that car.

I know a couple people that know the seller. The seller has a red 70-73 that is fixed up along the same lines as this.

I agree.. car is way overpriced and not my taste either.

Good luck to the seller.. I think he will be owning it for a very long time at that number.

Hard to tell Gary, but to my eyes it looks like a Gold colored Delux wheel with a red wrap on it. Odd

I couldnt figure out what the gold was all about, thought maybe a glitch with camera and reflections.

Further investigation it looks like chunks of the plastic are missing on the upper half, even more mystery to if its a clear upper half.
The clear lasted about half as long as colored plastic.

Another data point for what's a 70/71 Trans AM worth. 71 Trans AM in Massachesutes with a reserve, and BIN of $70K. Ad states "comprehensive rotisserie restoration" in describing the car, which I would assume to be a frame off, but it doesn't say that. Not sure what the "comprehensive" part means? Regarding frame off cars, I would venture it's at least $60K worth of work to do that. Big difference between a rotisserie Ram Air 1 of 5 car and this, but still the point is, it's a lot of work. When I see cars like this, I wouldn't go the rotisserie route because it's not going to be a positive ROI. The engine is a 400 (shaker says 455HO) and that's all the ad states. It's a nice car, but compared to the 70 4-speed cars, does it keep up? Is a 71 Trans AM worth more than a 70? Note seller has 0 feedback.

I believe most quality/complete 'frame off' restorations are going to set you back more than $60K.

It used to be that 71-72 T/A's were valued more than the 70's. Now it seems like the 70's are valued the same or greater than the '71/'72 models.
