2004 GTO alternator
After twenty one years and 113000 miles the alternator gave up. It's fairly tedious to access and remove the alternator but the one thing I have left to do is figure out how the electrical plug is retained so I can remove it without damaging it.
Does anybody have experience with this particular procedure and can provide some insight? Much obliged. |

The battery feed cable will always be bolted down to a stud.
The plug in harness has a tab that needs to be pinched in to unlock it from its female receiver.
