62 Pontiac Tempest in CA at $11K BIN. I think those 1/2 V8 engines are cool.

That '62 Tempest is a little doll, but the description is somewhat contradictory: "running and driving"..."will require more work to make roadworthy." "Starts and runs" and "driving" are two different things in my book, while "driving" and "roadworthy" are nearly synonymous. So, I wonder what's not roadworthy? Suspension? Exhaust? Frame?
So the price may or may not be quite right (my knee jerk reaction was that it was priced really well (which then surprised me when I saw the seller, as I know BHCC tends to overvalue their offerings). Sweet little car, though. More info needed. While Tempests of this era are not usually my thing (where does one get a correct replacement rope for the driveshaft these days, anyway?), this one sort of intrigues me, and I may just ask for more info (unless I missed answers in my brief visit to eBay).

69 GTO convertible in AZ with a reserve. 87K miles and a front power bench seat, which is uber rare. The seller kinda gets through the ad, but the one takeaway is the burgundy is not the original color. Lots of work done. It would look best in yellow IMO.

Super dry looking goat. Some extra info would go a long way, PHS, VIN, engine codes etc. interesting that the dashpad is some kind of homemade wrapped in vinyl setup. Rest of interior is all repro stuff but seems well installed. Little things like the antenna installed wrong and lack of good quality pics will hold it back.
Color looks more like Matador now. He infers a color change, wonder what it originally was? Pretty thorough job of hiding the original color.

Damn! I thought I was hard on these cars. Those old convertibles were pricey back in the day, so I would assume rare. They aren't my jam, but I'd love to drive this car. The ones who know all the knitty gritty details of what isn't stock (us) is missing the point IMO, if that's all you see. This is an old car and, if you drove it around town, people would take pictures of you driving it... I promise. The top needs to be replaced for sure. Very cool.

Such a pretty car to look at. 71 455HO with 61K miles in Lucy blue, 4 speed in Nebraska with a reserve. While it may not be original, it has the stupid rare rear console. In all my years combing junkyards in the 80's, I never came across one.

Look at that last pic of the door open, with overspray all over, even screws that hold dome light switch in are one painted, one plain.Attention to detail is a key ingredient to the making of a 100K auto.
