Very nice! What's going on in the background with the crane, etc.? Sort of looks like pile driving but not really. My career involved bridge construction inspection as a Project Technician for SDDOT.

Crane is set up for a water jet to blast through some obstructions for driving piles. The project is some concrete repairs on the bridge piers, new dolphins, and fender repairs.

Drove it to work! The heater got a test this morning with the temps in the mid 30s.

On the 2 66's I have I applied a thin coat of lemon oil on the real wood dash ...
it did 2 things:
1- took away the chalky look and put back a nicer darker grain appearance in the wood
2- actually hid the few water stains that were there

I use lemon oil on my real Oak Klipsch Forte Speakers for over 25 years - all good

Today, my 67 Tempest Wagon is returning to the owner I purchased it from 23 years ago, "Mark."

Over the past few months, I reinstalled the original 326, fixed several of the little things that needed attention, and have returned it to nearly the identical condition it was when I bought it from him all those years ago.

But there's one more adventure left to have! Yesterday, Mark flew to here to Phoenix, and tomorrow morning (Sunday), we will begin a 1200 mile road trip back to his home in central Missouri.

Mark has plans to return the car to his local 'daily mule' status, similar to what he was using it for when I bought it from him back in the day. Yes, the car will continue to log many miles and many smiles in the years to come.

We got her loaded up today with all of the spare parts I've accumulated over the years, and we will hit the road first thing in the morning. A bittersweet moment for sure, and a long full circle journey for the Wagon. She is returning to her rightful, forever home.

But this is truly a blessing for both of us. Mark gets to enjoy his wagon again, and I get to turn my attention back to the other Pontiac's in my fleet. There is no shortage of Ponti-action for me to accomplish, and I'm excited to get to some of the other long awaited projects.

The time has come.

Finished installing brackets on my front bumper on the 66 2+2. Secured convertible top hoses. Worked on reconditioning front turn signals. Ordered some parts.

Didn't do much except take advantage of the great weather and drive them today.

A few days ago someone with a '72 Nova left a note on Cole's car wanting to connect. He's had a few notes left on it since he's owned it. It's cool that he's getting to experience that part of classic car ownership for himself!

It was, but the old iron headed motor was faster and almost a 11 second car.

Discuss this with a couple of engine guys one of them, Paul on this board and another on this board so I’m just gonna have the heads checked out the block, etc., and make sure everything was done right the first time.

Yeah, my wheels could use a good cleaning. Probably won’t happen till the spring. I’ll just take the 75 out the wheels on that are pretty nice.

Dang that sucks, hang in there. The hardest tenths for me to chop were going from 13.1 to high 12s and 12.1 to high 11s. You'll get there with persistence

Filled up the tank last night for possibly the last time before spring. Drove it to work this morning as well!
