This photo is from my Mom’s HS yearbook, HP Central 1970. There’s a 69 Judge parked in front of the McDonald’s on S Main. Pretty sure it’s where Sub City was located for many years. Just north of Ward St near Ilderton Dodge.

Limejudge69 , do you know which old Mopar dealer on Main Street was turned into a GTI / GTCC community college building In the early 80s ?
Was that Ilderton Dodge ? I took auto mechanics there in 1983 . They said it was a former Mopar dealership. At minimum it was a dealership of some brand. Jerry Darnell was my instructor. |

I wouldn't be surprised if the Judge at McDonalds is that same Pattern Car on eBay too.
Or it could be the Orange 69 Ram4 Automatic that Bill Sykes bought from original owner in HighPoint. Oscar Maness bought the Hatteras Yacht car , it sold new in Charlotte. |

Yes BVZ it was (and still is) Ilderton Dodge. I always what happened to the Hatteras Yacht car. I wonder where Oscar’s other cars wound up? Any idea?

No idea. He passed away in 2014
He had not started doing anything to the Hatteras car last time I saw it around 2008. But had built an SR engine for it , and had a late Jan WS engine The car was an 01C Pattern 3spd , with a 4spd switched in. He was going to sell me the WS, took deposit, then backed out. I didn't associate with him anymore after that episode. He had a fully restored 69 Judge Matador Parchment 4spd #s car. Extremely nice car Bill Sykes passed away about 1.5 years ago. He had already downsized his collection years ago. |

How about a 79 Trans AM red in Michigan at $11K BIN. It says it has 70K miles and updates to the exterior, so I'll assume a repaint.

67 Firebird 400 4-speed in Ohio at $48K BIN. Pretty car and loaded. Says they have the PHS but didn't post it? I can't see anything wrong with this car. Is the block just a weak stamp?

The surface looks pretty smooth?
I think the engine code stamps were gang stamped, so where did the 2nd letter go? ![]() I checked the EUN, it is close for the VIN range. Not sure what's up with the engine code. I'd be checking the date code and other stuff carefully to see if good.

On the 67 Ohio Bird
Think I can faintly make out the Z in WZ code. But that is strange. 67 PHS will have the EUN printed for verification. EUN stamp looks legit Wheels are 7" , not available until 1969 Bird / GP |

76 Trans AM 4-speed project in NJ at $20K BIN. If you were interested, the seller may come down to earth eventually on the price. The car needs a lot.

66 GTO tri-power 4-speed GTO at $5 NR in Illinois. The car was loaded with Rally I's (my favorite), 3:55 posi rear, rally gauges, custom seat belts, wood wheel, special GTO shift knob and a tri-power. Looks like it's all still there except for the engine.
