Default Search for build sheet

Where am I likely to find the build sheet for my 2009 G8 GT?

I'm not sure. But look under the spare tire for the SPID (Service Parts IDentification).

Not sure since it's a Holden built in Australia, but if it's anything like here in the states I would check under the carpet, in the seats, on top of the fuel tank, behind the headliner, inside the door trim panels etc.

Most of mine were found under the back seat intertwined with the wire foam supports.

Reported.

Actually - the "bot" is pretty close to correct, but not very good with nuance.

I would make the correction that build sheets were not "tucked" away in obscure places, as much as "left" there.

They were used anywhere where components were built up remotely and then conveyed to the main line. That's why you see them in the locations I mentioned (if at all). If they were too difficult to remove then they remained where they lay - often covered in tar or with a screw shot through them.

And they were never meant for the owner's eyes. They were an assembly aid that was meant to be thrown away at the end of the line, along with coffee cups, love notes, extra screws and other pieces of paper.

Correct me if I am wrong. That cars options are searchable by the VIN number on the GM website?

I have the window sticker so I don’t have any questions about how the car was built/equipped. Just curious to see what one would look like and what surprises might be revealed.
