An engine rebuild was completed in 2024 and is said to have been accompanied by a generator rebuild, a new fuel tank and battery, and powder-coating of the radiator support and brackets. The car is powered by a 347ci V8 with three two-barrel carburetors linked to a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission that was also resealed under current ownership. Finished in Chateau Gray and silver over black vinyl upholstery, the car is also equipped with 15″ painted steel wheels, a push-button AM radio, and a heater. This Chieftain is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner at no reserve with spare parts, factory literature, service records, and a clean California title in the current owner’s name.
