Black on black, dog dish w/redlines? Nice. And (aside from
performance options) it's almost bare bones. The headrests
and steering wheel are a welcome surprise.

Very Nice survivor, I don't think I have ever seen a 66 or 67 with head rests as a stand alone option, just included with the optional reclining passenger seat. I like the car!

Seller isn't very engaged yet.
I like them low'ish and those new springs were a waste of time and money.

Trim tag has the headrest code next to interior code.
I've never seen them stand alone either , that I can remember.
Have a black pair with recliner from a 66 GP , and a turq pair with power driver from a 67 GP.

No plans on trying to buy it , but definitely would have if had found it in the 80s or early 90 zone.
Black 67 HO 4spd was on my hit list.

Agree. 4X4 stance has got to go. But the work order says
"stock height springs". The springs ought to be ballpark
close once the spacers are evicted. Why the shop didn't
do it *while they were installing new springs* is baffling.

Good catch on those spacers .
Owner must have wanted that ride height.
Or shop was super slack.

At first look I thought it was going to be a car with no engine , for sale.
And air shocks on the rear .

Seems to have survived pretty well for a native Ohio car .

I saw the spacers on the back, but apparently necessary to balance out the high front -- now the question is what's wrong up front to get it so high?

I placed a couple of bids but was outbid in the end.
I would of loved to restore this gem to concours grade.
It did not meet the reserve.
I wanted to contact the seller since we are both in NJ and make a deal with him but I cant since i was not the high bidder.

I looked at this car last Friday and it`s rougher than it seems in the pics. Crude patches in both rear wheel wells, bottom of the quarters. None of the original parts are with the car that were removed but does have a correct date on the block B 20 7. His reserve was 33k.

It was obvious from the get go in that BaT auction this ‘67 was a rust/bondo bucket.
That trunk floor was hideous with those ugly patches.

I’m sure the frame has issues also.

Didn't look at all the pictures or see the trunk.
Lower door corners showed heavy pitting .
Saw the tacked in lower quarter patch panels but the pinch welds looked okay like maybe the rust repair was up higher in behind the molding.

I don't think the car is worth 33K in that condition.
I know being an original black car with the HO option makes it rare but my restorations I do myself tend to cost me about 50K+
Cost of car plus restoration brings me closer to 85K. The car is worth 90k when finished if you don't have any surprises.

I think it was the only auction I have seen for a Pontiac on BaT where the seller didn't even post a single sentence.
It's worth more than 17k but not enough info pics or driving video to get close to 33.

They might have been going for plum mist but got briar mist on the paint.
Extremely odd color .

I would over pay for it a bit , if I win the lottery this week.
Have tried 4 times already. Not going to be easy.
