I'm surprised this car is for sale. Let's say you got out of the hobby... completely out. I restore pinball machines, so I'm pretty much there, but I still have all my cars. Going to back to being out for a while, if you decided to get back in fairly cheaply, this car is perfect. All it needs is seat. You could put some Camaro seats in it and be good to go in no time with seat belts. Put some Rally II's and fatter tires on it and yer good go. It's too cheap for a CA rust free convertible IMO. 68 Catalina convertible in CA at $12K BIN OBO.

Why are you getting out?
Do you restore arcade cabinets too?

Honestly, for a solid but non running and scruffy late 60's Cat without any neat stuff (4spd, 428 etc) I suspect this is more like an $8k car. As someone who owns a few, I wish it was different

I'm not getting out, just coming to realize I have two project cars behind the two that run, and I don't drive them. I have a 350HO convertible that was originally Champagne with a green interior and a green top. Really cool car, currently triple white, and I think I'll sell that one soon.
Arcade cabinets are cool, but they're just too big. You can buy a multicade cabinet with every video game ever made for about $1500. I want to fix pinball machines as a side gig, so I bought a bunch of them and restored them. They're actually very simple machines. I decided not get arcade machines, because they're too big. I bought a 1949 "RIO" pinball machine by United a few weeks ago, and the guy gave me a 1980 Atari Battlezone Cabaret that wasn't working. I pulled all the cards out and put in new caps, and now I'll send them out to be tested. It's a fun hobby, and to be honest with you, especially in winter, too old to like crawling under a car. |

I love me some Williams System 6 games, and I have all the good ones. I also like Gottlieb street games, and I have LCA and Vegas. Jealous of your Adams Family. Is your Fireball a zipper flipper 72? I bought a 85 Fireball Classic, but it's still on the crate.

I was thinking half that. That car is an overall nightmare.

Bucket List items for me. I played original FireBall machines in 1972 with the flippers that opened and closed the gap between them. I think it was the first of its kind like that I can remember. And probably first multi-ball machine I can remember. Before that , some had a stob that popped up between the flippers. "Fiend" by either Gottlieb or Williams was another favorite. I liked games that had potential skill shots for free games. The old analog games , we found out if we gave the machine a big yank or slide when it was doing the "match" at the end of game for a complimentary bonus game - the credit wheel would roll up to anywhere between 15-99 credits - if one of us matched. We had a hustle on about every machine at the laundry mat. Drink machine 2 for 1 Gumball machine almost endless big gumballs for 5cents Lance snack machines multiple of same snack for a dime. When the lady was busy doing something else. Terrible awful children |

I LOVED playing Addams Family in the 90s. If the movie was as good as the game it would have been nominated for an Oscar.

69 Firebird in CA at $35K BIN. Rebuilt 350 and an automatic, it's prolly worth around $28K IMO. The color of the carpet is either off, or a bad pic. Solid CA rust free body.
