Question What is this part?

I was removing the steering column out of a customers 67' Goat. Was cleaning up and saw this on the floor mat. Was found with the nyloc half engaged as you see it. I think it fell out out of the dash at some point

It's part of the manual shifter. It's called the Hurst Shifter Bridge Plate. Probably left over from a shifter rebuild as it comes in the kit.

I was going to guess it's a Fleam Stretcher.

Thank you GTOfm.
I had helpers the day we removed the engine and trans together. That piece was pulled to remove the shifter and left on the carpet under the column. I didn't see the part before I removed the column. And was like WTF is this. Mystery solved!
