74 Grand Prix SJ with 45K miles and a 455 at $10K BIN in Michigan. Not my kind of car, but for $10K, you'd get another 80K out of it just using it as a commuter. It also has a moon roof, ya know, to look at the moon at night.

Here's one you never see, a 1936 Pontiac custom coupe with a Dodge Viper V10 at $55K in AZ. This is pre war before cars took a back seat to the war effort. Uber rare, and it takes a lot of fabrication to build a car like this. Imagine building your Firebird with zero places to get new parts. It looks cool and is prolly wicked fast. Gripes: 1) Why put a "Poncho" decal on a Dodge engine? A SBC would be a better choice than the original engine, and while the V10 Dodge is cool, just put plain valve covers on it, because the one thing it's not, is a Poncho engine. 2) Driving this car on a highway is going to spit rocks at other cars with almost the entire rear tires sticking out from under the body, and the entire front tires sticking out with zero guards to stop rocks. This is a safety thing and I would not want to be behind this car on the highway. Plusses: It has seat belts. So many of these older cars don't, and while I may drive a car without seat belts, I wouldn't have a passenger next to me. The interior looks nice. You have to start with basically nothing an a 90 year old car, so good job there. The undercarriage has bookoo bucks put into it. Shiney and nice.

Interesting car based on its colors. 1967 Catalina convertible with a reserve in Florida. I would guess it's Champagne with a blue interior. I think it's a sharp combo.

76 Firebird Formula at $13K BIN in CA. No way this is worth the asking, so a deal may be made. The guy is leaving the state and has 2 weeks to sell this. I always hate to see an open carburetor hole just sitting there. One year only hood I never really liked, but always snagged when I went to the junkyard because people bought them. Putting a transmission in the front seat doesn't seem like the correct choice.

76 Formula was Silver with W50 lower accent stripes.
Guessing the trim tag BLK means the W50 was Black. Wonder what the two accent stripe colors would have been ? I know what the White ones with W50 Black and 2-tone blue accents looked like. |

Looks sharp in that combo. I've always liked 76s, and that one year hood on the Formula makes them unique.

I love seeing this car every time it rolls around. I had a 70 455 GTO 4-speed when I was 16, and it wasn't a Judge, so minus the Judge wing and stripes, it was identical. God I miss that car. $107K BIN in Illinois.

Isn't a YZ code in '70 a 400?

Looks like a potential restamped YZ , that should be WS .
Real lucky if it gets a 70k bidder. There is a similar correct combo 4spd AC all #s Judge on the market. High bid on BaT was under 70k , but it was a weak month when it was on there. |

I hate the restamp deception. I have a Muncie M20 that was rebuilt back in the 90's with M21 parts. I can't remember the numbers, but they stamped it to a M21 stamp, but stamped it horizontally. I think was a cool move.
