I think they look awesome. The long wait sucked, but man, they really change the look. I like the height and width of the G60. I took a pic of one next to another Rally II wrapped in a 245/60 and they're pretty damn close.

Thanks! I'm very happy with them.

Heres a few not great pics of the rear fitment. Right now the car only has a 1/4 tank of fuel, and no spare or jack in the trunk, so it'll come down a little more.

Can I ask which manufacturer's paint you used on your car? I'm having my shaker scoop painted soon and I like the shade of your blue. 1967 Tyrol Blue, right?

It's PPG Deltron Concept. Ended up using Lemans Blue on the shaker (GM code 71). It seemed to match the stripe better, although Tyrol is technically correct.

My 71 has/had the shaked painted Lucerne blue, but it was definitely off from the stripe.

Got the car out the other day, turning it's own wheels for the first time since 1999!

The engine ran great, and the trans shifts smoothly. The rear end is a little noisy, so that needs to be investigated. It needs an alignment badly, but tracks straight.

Still little odds and ends to take care of. The temp gauge doesn't want to work, but checking it with an IR gun during it's first drive, it's staying remarkably cool. Brakes are a little soft, but stop.

Overall I'd say it was a successful first drive.

They really look awesome. Took almost a year to get them, but I'm definitely glad I waited.

I like the G60 size. They're slightly larger than the F60. I feel like they fill out the wheel openings better and give it a slightly wider stance.

I always thought, given how high these cars sat naturally, that F60 size tires were really too small looking.

Had wanted and still want to go G60 like you did. Great work. How it should be!

When its time, Alignments are done ( most cars from the 20's to the 90's anyway) at Jims alignment in Springvale, ME., just past Sanford high school.
Many many great references and pics on the facebook page. Going back a bit I believe my car is in there.
