I have never seen a ram air optioned so heavily that’s amazing. I thought starlight black was an available paint code for 68?

Will have to try to search it on BJ later.
I think his 69 Judge sold first , in a private sale.

The Blue MCACN car was the Spec Paint 1 family car.
VooDoo mcacn car must be the one that Mattison owned before with Buckets and R2 wheels.
The VooDoo previously owned by PY member had Bench and Deluxe Hubcaps.

For whatever reason , it wasn't a standard 68 Bird color.
Minimal upcharge like a Firebird Only color upcharge , on a Bird.

Tres LeBlanco de Deuce
Probably the only Deuce Bird with Speed Alert .
Or power windows
Or power seat

The car we just got is an original Verdoro green no options auto. The drivetrain is missing.

Default RA II Pontiac literature

I am looking for any Pontiac information or announcements of the RA II cars. Trying to put together a display of information relating to factory literature. If you have something you can scan and send to me I would appreicate it. Thanks!

They didn’t know what a ram air car was but he had looked at a price guide so from what I could tell he did good on the sale. He got it from a 88 year old neighbor whose husband and son had both passed away. It was in very rural Kentucky to say the least. It was for sale online and I was afraid someone would see the same pictures I did and figure out what it was before we got to it. It was a very stressful week to say the least.

We figured out what dealer it came from but really nothing much about the dealer. I don’t think they were into racing like some of the other dealerships.

Default 4.33 ZR Rear

A member PM'd me suggesting I post this here. If not allowed, please delete.

My father had a RA II long time ago, Verdoro Green 4 speed. 1968 Firebird 4.33 rear. I do not specifically remember if he had a 3.90 or this 4.33. It's a Nodular 4 pinion housing. ZR stamped. 9793020. Will post date code later tonight.

Just seeing if there is any interest. I did post it in for sale, this specific thread seemed more appropriate/fitting.

Located in SE Michigan.

Tom

Don't see any problem plugging the differential here.

We have not witnessed another 68 Deuce Bird with Code S in the axle box of the PHS document.
All have been code P = 3.90

That is quite unique.

Approx. 43 RAII '68 Firebirds in the Registry.
None from factory with Cameo White paint & Gold top.
Any more details? Trim Tag pix?

John all he has is the engine.
He sent off for the PHS (BHC) and wanted to know if the car was still around.
