The original plan was to do drywall, but then we realized how heavy drywall would be to go up that high. The drywall doesn't reflect as good as the white panels, and you don't have to spackle metal panels.

Made some more progress on the shop. Put in another 35 hours of time and have gotten this far. About 2/3 of all the hard stuff is done. Trying to get it
dried -in before the rainy season.

Like it, like it, like it! I was wondering if you would be dried-in before the end of this week/coming weekend.

The major heavy rollup doors will take a while, but looks good so far.

Been fighting the wind trying to finish this. Texas this time of year is very windy during the daytime as you know. We switched gears and got some nice LED headlamps and have been working at night when the wind dies down. We worked until 11PM on Friday night last. Neighbors were cool and did not call the cops. Should have it done in two weeks unless the rain does not stop.
Doors are going to be picked up this Saturday unless it is raining.
Not easy handling 17 ft sheets for the roof. lost two with a small gust and they went flying and were crumpled on the fence like pieces of paper.
The trim will take some time as they are one piece special ordered stuff. no seams. with the exception of the gutters. . No one makes a 50 ft seamless gutter for metal building.

Started adding the overhead doors to the shop over the weekend due to the rain.
Working on the dry side.

Custom setting these doors up to follow the pitch of the roof when they open.

They are heavy. Insulated doors weight more than I thought.

Anyone have any recommendations on electric openers?

Made a little more progress on the shop.
Basically dried in and got all the doors up.

Just the front metal remains and that should be done this weekend.

Finished the walls and doors are installed. Only thing that remains is the gutters, down spouts, gable and corner trim.

Started putting in the electrical. Mounted the load panel and started with the EMT piping.

I like doing this inside stuff.

Thinking about this new Blue Aluminum air-line system instead of poly or copper plumbing.
Looks durable and easy to install.

Your shop is coming out great.

I cheated and went the easy way. I had a bolt up kit installed in Jan. Mine is 30X40X12. I did have to get them to come back out and add doubles to the back wall. You could see it bowing in the wind shaking the whole building. For insulation I went with 2" foam board on the walls and ceiling, the company wanted $6000 for their wrap and I did it for about $3000

Very nice shop. I like the big doors at the end and the brick veneer.
My end walls were a little wobbly so I had to reinforce them with the vertical V shaped 6" perlins and that solved that little problem and provided lateral sheer support for the building on both ends.

I am going to do the same as you. Use 2" Poly-Iso boards to insulate.
Way cheaper and just as good as spray foam. I did use the bat insulation on the roof but I got a deal on it so it is extra insulation as I will add foam to the inner roof also.
I'm working on the electrical and the electric door openers at the moment.

Just a few update pictures. Finally got the gutters and rake trim installed. now the shop is dried in and sealed up. Only thing left is the corner trim.

Started working on the electrical. Bending conduit and box layout.
