Default 1973 Cowl Tag Rivet or Screw

Here is a link to a page I made showing my cowl tags and their fasteners.
HFR had a tag that was real close to the date but has some 'weird' stuff.

The 'UNK' is a date code partially I believe. (1st 2 digits)

***edit: looks like you already have my trim tag data, but not the VIN. ****

Here's another data point for you. Not that it'll help much, since it's not near the change week....

My VIN is N123238.

Scott, do you know the ship date? Is your engine original and is it an early or later code?

My engine is not original. I believe it originally had the early emissions system. As for the ship date, that would be on the PHS, right? I'll look when I'm home tomorrow.

Here's my PHS. It's kind of hard to read, but it looks like the ship date was 3/20/73.

Wow, nice document. PHS gave you that much information? Almost looks like something Pontiac would have sent out at one time.
20, 26 or even 29, I guess.

That is what PHS used to provide. That is from the 90s sometime (my uncle ordered the PHS, and he passed in late 1996).

It's a little easier to read on the document vs. the picture. There are 3 dates: date shipped, 3-20-73; date of <unreadable >, 4-22-73; and date of <unreadable> 3-20-73.
