I am assuming you misplaced the decimal?....rig gaps at .0023 and .0024? Maybe 0.023 and 24? Which I have never done nitrous or blower but would expect the end gaps to be some XXX amount MORE per boost number? A typical NA application would be around .017-.019 IIRC

i 100% did misplace that decimal....i guess as i was typing i was thinking about the spec sheets borex .0055 lol .018-.019 is about what the spec sheet works out too for this bore size if it were N/A |

been on overtime so this lil projects been sitting.
290b6 cam is installed, dot to dot on degree wheel was exactly 106 icl, 4 degreees advance on edelbrock billet timing set was 102.5 icl...i was hoping for 103 but i dont have any keys to change it and dont know if it will make much difference. i had assembled the shorblock before i seen paul k doing the 421 cooling mod on fb..i plan to mask the deck off and do that next. just messing with the heads set on the block, i test fit a intake gasket i had from a stock builder felpro kit. seems the ports on gaaket are slightly smaller so ill need to find the right ones. these are never ran 72cc d port eheads, im no head porter but it seems like there could be some gains to be had by dissambling and smoothing out some of the rough cast in the ports. still deciding if i wanna go down that road...if i do i might as well clean up the rpm intake that will go on it too. i have no clue what to expect power wise, i have the 2" husler headers i could throw it in my 65 before i put the intended motor in.
