The only flexible I am familiar with is the Lokar at $200+

Interestingly enough, I've found that many TH400 dip stick TUBES don't fit, even ones that are listed for the application. I at one time had a graveyard of tubes/sticks because of this.

If you need the tube and stick, this is the one that I've used on both TH400 & 4L80e, in both 68-72 A-bodies and 2nd gen F-bodies:

I believe I have used the ATI ones as well, but the TCi one was the first I found in my notes.

The only ones I'm familiar with are the Lokar and Autoloc ones, and IMO, the Lokar end that you trim is kind of sloppy.

It works, and if you're careful, you can make a good end, and will work fine.

The Autoloc ones come in different lengths, so you can get one close enough where you don't have to cut them.

Last I looked, the Lokar one only comes in 1 length.

B&M used to make one, but I've never used them, so can't really comment. Suspect others make them, there too, have only used the Lokar and Autoloc ones.

ATI makes one for 20 bucks. But no dipstick attached.
I keep one around if tech asks for it.
But I keep my stock one on the car with a little zip tie looping around the bracket that bolts to the rear of the head.
They let me get away with it but keep the locking one in toolbox just in case.
